Short-term and best-effort delivery
Addresses and messages may expire, and external senders may reject disposable domains.
Effective date: September 29, 2026
By using Emailbye, you agree to these terms. Temporary inboxes are not permanent storage or account-recovery tools, and long-term forwarding does not guarantee delivery of every external email.
Addresses and messages may expire, and external senders may reject disposable domains.
Do not impersonate others, bypass access controls, or collect information that does not belong to you.
Do not create accounts in bulk, load-test, resell, or use the service for spam campaigns.
To protect users and infrastructure, we may suspend clearly abusive addresses or sessions.

The boundaries below clarify what the service provides and which risks you must manage yourself.
| Area | We provide | You are responsible for |
|---|---|---|
| Temporary email | Best-effort receipt and display during the active period | Saving anything you need promptly |
| Account recovery | No promise that a temporary address can be recovered long-term | Setting up a permanent recovery method for important accounts |
| Forwarding delivery | Status updates and limited lookback access | Checking the destination address and filtering rules |
| Content legality | Security and anti-abuse measures | Processing only content you are authorized to receive |
| Address type | Explain the difference between a temporary address, an alias, and your regular email | Choose the route by how long the relationship will last |
| After access ends | Clear records we hold on the stated retention window | Save what you still need, and handle copies already in your own inbox |
Temporary inboxes require no registration, but the address token functions like an access credential. Keep the page and device secure, and never share sensitive tokens with untrusted people.
Long-term forwarding uses email verification-code login. You must be authorized to use the email address and are responsible for actions involving sessions, aliases, and verifier settings.
We work to keep the service available, but do not promise continuous, error-free operation or compatibility with every sender. Messages may be delayed or lost due to networks, sending policies, anti-spam rules, capacity limits, or events beyond our control.
We may update features, restrictions, domains, or retention periods to improve security and reliability. We will explain significant changes when reasonably possible, but urgent security measures may take effect immediately.
You retain rights to your lawful content and authorize us to process it as needed to provide receiving, display, forwarding, and security functions. You represent that you have the right to authorize this processing.
The Emailbye brand, interface, text, and software are protected by applicable law. Except for normal use of the service, you may not copy, exploit, reverse-engineer, or impersonate our brand.
The service is provided as is and as available. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and uninterrupted delivery.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses caused by temporary addresses expiring, delayed email, third-party actions, or your choice of address type. Statutory rights that cannot be excluded remain unaffected.
You may stop using the service and delete controllable access points. We may restrict or terminate access for violations, security risks, or legal requirements; where appropriate, we will allow an appeal.
Disputes should first be addressed through good-faith communication. If any part of these terms is invalid, the remaining terms remain in effect. Send questions to support@emailbye.com.
A temporary address is for one task and stops receiving when it expires. A forwarding alias is for mail you still want, and that you can turn off on its own. Your regular email is not replaced by this service.
If you put a payment, identity, or work account on an address that expires, the recovery risk is yours. Product pages explain the difference between the three routes. Choosing the wrong type is not a service failure.
After you stop using the service, or after we limit access for a violation, a security risk, or a legal requirement, temporary addresses are cleared on their expiry window, forwarding records within 30 days, and security logs for the limited period needed to finish the security purpose.
Copies already delivered to your own inbox are not deleted on our side. Ending access does not cancel payments you already made, or duties you already owe to someone else. An appeal should name the address or alias, the rough time, and what happened.
